GENERAL RULES Here are the general rules. Please follow these rules so we can all enjoy this site
1) This is a forum based off of the Warriors series (the first six books). Any other series of Warriors books by Erin Hunter is not included in this roleplay. If you know nothing about Warriors I suggest you go and read at least the first series (the first six books starting with Into The Wild). They are very good books especially if you love cats. Do not start roleplaying until you are familiar with the Warriors world.
2) Please do not be rude. You may only swear in 'cat language', such as fox-dung and mouse-brain.
3) Respect the administrators/staff. They are here to help you.
4) Please try to use correct English and grammar, this is a roleplaying site for semi- to literate roleplayers!
5) Please do not speak your religious beliefs; we don't want to offend anyone. Clan cats, however, have their own religion (StarClan) so that, of course, is acceptable. They pray to StarClan and say things like 'May StarClan go with you'.
6) This is very important! DO NOT give out spoilers without adding in big, bold, noticible letters, SPOILER. We don't want to ruin book plots for people who still or haven't read them. Thanks!
7) You may only have ONE image in your signature between the sizes of 400x100 - 600x250 or less. NO BIGGER. If they are bigger, it looks messy and takes a while to load. Any other images in your signature must be 400x100 or less, and you may have up to four images in your signature (not counting smileys).
8) Please make sure to be active, especially if you have characters. If you are going to be inactive for any amount of time, you MUST post giving an excuse. Otherwise, if you do not come back, you're account might be banned.
ROLEPLAYING RULES
Please read these before roleplaying!
1) You must have at least one character before you can role-play!
2) Please seperate your in-character talking from out-of-character talking so as not to confuse us. When in character write IC: and out of character write OOC: Ex: IC: Flamestar pounced on the mouse and quickly bit it's neck before it got away. She picked it up and started to pad back to camp OOC: Who's going to join in?
3) No chat speak (g2g, brb, ttyl, ty, yw, etc.) when in character. It's okay if you are out of character, but should not be used often.
4) When posting in character, you must post in third person with at least two lines. Ex: Flamestar walked out of her den and stretched. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes as a breeze ruffled her fur.
5) Do not use a character that is not your own! Right: Flamestar walked over to Specklekit and started to lick him gently.
Wrong: Flamestar walked over to Specklekit and started to lick. Specklekit complained, "What're you doing that for?"
6) Please have all characters accepted by the Staff before you roleplay in them, and in order to be fair, we limit one high-ranking cat per person (literally meaning person, NOT accounts). This includes Leaders, Deputies, and Medicine Cats.
7) Do not start a thread that affects the plot without the twist being approved by the staff. This means no rallying cats together to destroy something or attack.
8) Use your stats when fighting and hunting! They are there to make it more realistic. You are clearly going to lose if your opponent is level 8 and you are level 1. The spiritual stat is not like purity, but more like respect within the Clan and respect in StarClan/Warrior Code. It can also show how kind thier heart is unless you specify otherwise and people know.
9) There is now a Lost Characters board, for when you won't be able to be on and/or play your characters, so you want somebody else to play them instead of them going to waste. When this happens, please PM the appropriate leader (you can always PM me) and tell them that you want your cats up for adoption. The thread that you originally created for the character is then moved to the Lost Characters board. Please review the Character Adoption rules in this thread before adopting a character.
SIGN-UP RULES Please pay attention to these rules as you need to know them to create a character!
1) Only up to six characters on each account! Only two accounts please. This is so that the roleplays don't get too confusing, and so that it doesn't get hard to play each character a lot. The creation of accounts, just to get high positions, will get your IP address banned if you don't heed my first warning.
2) Your choices of what your characters can be are Warrior, Apprentice, or Elder in either WindClan, ThunderClan, RiverClan, SkyClan, or ShadowClan. You can also be a rogue, loner, or kittypet. If your cat dies it becomes a cat of StarClan regardless of it's age. You may NOT join a Clan or be a rogue/loner/kittypet if they are in the 'Banned Clans' box of the table at the top of every screen. You cannot join the Clan as a kit; kits need to be born first before they can be roleplayed, as they need mothers. You can only RP a kit if you have the permission of the parents to play them.
3) Before creating your cat's name (and whole cat for that matter) you MUST read the Warriors Naming Guide. If your cat's name does not follow what is said in the guide, you will be asked to change it until it is. If you wish to skip that (we hope you don't!) then go HERE for a complete list of Prefixes and Suffixes.
4) Your cat's name CANNOT exactly match a cannon character's (a character from the first 7 Warriors books, including the special edition, Firestar's Quest). Examples: You cannot name your character Silverstream but you could name her Silverheart. You cannot name a kit Snowkit, but you can have an apprentice named Snowpaw. You can't have a cat named Tigerclaw but you can, however, have a cat named Tigerpaw or Tigerkit.
5) If you want to be a Rogue or Loner, please read the Rules of Rogues and Loners here.
6) The password to get into the Character board is ireadalltherules.

LOST CHARACTER BOARD RULES Read these to learn about how the new board will operate!
1) Medicine cats, deputies, and leaders cannot be adopted or put up for adoption unless they have retired first or have never been roleplayed with (so it wouldn't matter if they lose their status).
2) Characters in the Lost Character board that don't get adopted will stay in there until they do or the original owner requests to have them back.
3) New users can look there first to find 'premade' characters instead of making their own.
ADOPTION RULES
1) Only character bio threads moved to the Lost Character board may be adopted.
2) You cannot adopt a character if you have the maximum amount of characters.
3) Please post in the character's thread if you want to adopt it.
ABANDONING RULES
1) If you no longer or can't play your character, PM me or one of the other leaders so that we can move your character to the Lost Character board.
2) Once a character is in the Lost Character board, it can't be played with until it is adopted.
3) If there is somebody in particular you want to have your character, please notify me and post in your character's thread saying so.
1) Follow our general rules at all times. 2) Please don't excessively advertise in the cbox. 3) Do not act inappropriately in any way, or the cbox will be taken down.
